The tail end disassembly

With most of the front end apart, we decided to taking the tail end apart and finding out what work was required there. As with the front end, the rust effected nuts’n’bolts gave us a hard time, but at least the grinder was only required on one occasion.

The Bonnet has been ordered

Disassembly of the front end

At last, the weekend has arrived and I can go work on the Z. Dad showed me his handy work on the bonnet and it didn’t look too good. For the amount of work that it will take, we have opted to look into getting a replacement bonnet.
