Starting to put things back together
Well, it’s a Saturday and I’m stuck at work. Dad decided to do some work on the car without me. He started to put things back together again. His focus is to get the guards back onto the car and get all the lines right. We placed the bonnet onto the car to see if the guards were in the right place and that the gap was even. He used a string line to check the center line of the car, and found that the center of the bonnet was more or less (within a mill) spot on dead center, woot! Dad also spent quite a bit of time getting the bolts that had sheared on us out and re-tapping the nuts to make sure that all was good. Things are looking good.
