Out for a spin
Penny, my wife, wanted to go out for a spin in the car (well, that’s my excuse 😉 ) before we started to strip her down and build her up. We decided to drive it to my extended family’s Christmas do. It was at my cousin Michaels’ place, so it wasn’t too far away.
It was quite fun to drive her around a bit, but I can see that there is work to be done. The brakes didn’t feel the strongest and the steering is a little bit unresponsive. And the suspension, let me just say that when you hit a rolling bump, it feels like you are floating in the tub! Well, at least I know a few points that need to be focused on once we get down to the rebuild.
